Day 1
Arrival in Taghia Valley
The first day is dedicated to travelling to Taghia and settling into the accommodation.
After arriving in the valley, participants can discover the peaceful atmosphere of the village, meet the local team and prepare their equipment for the following days.
Dinner and overnight stay will be provided at the mountain guesthouse.
Day 2
Tire-Bouchon Circuit and Berber Passage

After breakfast, the first major hike begins directly from the guesthouse.
The trail gradually climbs towards the Aguoudal Plateau. From the plateau, hikers can enjoy impressive views over Taghia Valley and the surrounding peaks, including the mountains of Aroudane and Azourki.
The itinerary then descends towards the river, where a picnic break will be organised near a natural water spring.
After lunch, the group crosses the famous Berber Passage, an impressive mountain trail built along the rock face. This section offers a unique combination of adventure, history and spectacular scenery.
The hike ends with a return to the guesthouse for dinner and rest.
Day 3
Ascent of Jbel Timghazine – 3,157 metres

Distance: 13 km
Walking time: Approximately 7 hours
Accommodation: Mountain guesthouse
The third day is dedicated to the ascent of Jbel Timghazine, the highest summit overlooking Taghia Valley.
After breakfast, the group leaves the guesthouse and begins the climb at a steady pace. The ascent covers approximately seven kilometres and includes a positive elevation gain of around 1,160 metres.
At an altitude of approximately 3,157 metres, the summit offers an exceptional 360-degree panoramic view over Taghia Valley and the surrounding High Atlas mountain ranges.
A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at the summit, depending on weather conditions, before beginning the descent back to the guesthouse.
After returning, participants will have free time to relax and admire the sunset from the terrace of the accommodation.
Day 4
Via Ferrata in Zaouiat Ahansal and Return to Casablanca

Distance: 8 km
Approach walking time: Approximately 4 hours
Via ferrata duration: Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes
After breakfast, the group leaves Taghia Valley and heads towards the village of Zaouiat Ahansal for the final activity of the trip.
A two-hour approach hike leads to the starting point of the via ferrata. On arrival, participants receive the necessary safety equipment and instructions from the guides.
The via ferrata combines hiking, climbing and secured progression along a rocky mountain face. Participants move along cables, ladders and equipped sections while remaining attached to a safety system.
This activity offers an exciting way to explore the cliffs and mountainous landscapes of the region in controlled and secure conditions.
After completing the via ferrata, the group begins the return journey to Casablanca.
Who Is This Adventure For?
This programme is recommended for hikers with good physical fitness and previous mountain hiking experience.
Because of the significant elevation gains, long walking days and technical via ferrata section, participants should be comfortable with heights and able to hike for up to seven hours.
